Olivia Herzog, LMSW
I am passionate about creating a nonjudgmental space where individuals feel safe to heal, reflect, and grow. I approach therapy with deep respect for the vulnerability it requires. I view it as a privilege to witness and support each client’s healing journey, and I strive to do so with intention and warmth. My clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic insights, and somatic interventions to help clients better understand patterns in their thoughts and behaviors while honoring how trauma and life experiences shape nervous system functioning.
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Columbia University School of Social Work. I have experience working with survivors of abuse, individuals living with severe and persistent mental health conditions, and those navigating substance use challenges. With a background in social work, I also recognize the profound impact that systems of oppression and societal stressors have on the human experience, and I invite that exploration into the therapeutic space.
I work with clients from diverse backgrounds and have experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, OCD, grief and loss, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
