Olivia Herzog, LMSW

I focus on creating a space where you can feel safe, understood, and not judged — because starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and that matters.

I work with clients who are trying to make sense of their experiences, break out of patterns that no longer serve them, and feel more grounded in their day-to-day lives.

My approach blends practical tools with deeper exploration. We’ll look at how your thoughts, emotions, and past experiences connect — while also working on ways to help you feel better in the present.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic work, and somatic approaches to support both emotional insight and nervous system regulation, especially when trauma is part of your story.

I have experience working with survivors of abuse, individuals navigating substance use, and those living with more complex or long-standing mental health challenges. My background in social work also shapes how I understand the broader systems and stressors that can impact your mental health, and we can explore those together if they’re part of your experience.

I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Columbia University School of Social Work.
