Hannah Batista, LMSW

I am passionate about meeting people where they are at and embracing the individual experiences past and present in working towards goals of the future. I strive to create a safe space for people to process the comfortable and uncomfortable experiences without being judged or feeling shamed. I encourage curiosity and creativity when viewing our lives and being compassionate towards what we learn about ourselves.

I use a person centered, strengths based, and somatic lens of therapy around IFS and psychoanalytic techniques. As the mind and body are strongly connected, I care about both people’s physiological and emotional needs and how they overlap. I am constantly working to develop my therapeutic approach through research supported information around what my clients are experiencing and supporting their goals.

I am skilled in working with: Anxiety, Depression, Substance Use, Trauma, Family Counseling, Teen and Adolescent Issues, Anger, Stress.
