Cameron O'Connor, LCSW
I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or not like themselves — whether that shows up as anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, or just a sense that something isn’t working.
In our work together, we focus on both understanding what’s underneath these patterns and making real, practical changes in your day-to-day life. The goal isn’t just insight — it’s actually feeling better and moving forward.
My approach blends present-focused strategies with deeper insight into past experiences. That means we don’t just talk about why things feel the way they do — we also work on how to change them.
Whether you’re processing something from the past or trying to handle what’s happening right now, we’ll focus on helping you feel more grounded, clear, and in control.
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Pennsylvania, where I trained alongside leading professionals in mental health. Since then, I’ve spent thousands of hours working one-on-one with clients.
Some of my most meaningful work has been with adolescents and young adults, and I’ve made it a priority to ensure our practice supports clients as young as 12.
I co-founded Harborlight Counseling with my wife, Morgan, with the goal of building a practice that feels accessible, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful. We’ve built a team of clinicians who care deeply about the work and the people they support.
I work with both adolescents and adults and have experience supporting clients with:
Anxiety & overthinking
Depression
Trauma
Substance use
Relationship and family challenges
Identity, sexuality, and gender-related concerns
Life transitions and stress
