Avram Altman, LMSW, M.S.
I believe that every individual has the innate ability to find their path forward, and sometimes, all it takes is a little support and guidance to unlock that potential. My approach is a kaleidoscope of therapeutic techniques, rooted in a client-centered, strengths-based framework. I integrate elements of Freudian psychotherapy, Gestalt theory, narrative therapy, and utilize tools from CBT, DBT, and EMDR to help you navigate life's challenges and achieve your personal goals.

In our work together, my focus is on truly listening to your story and working collaboratively to find personalized solutions. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space that fosters open and honest dialogue, allowing you to discuss both simple and difficult topics in a caring and supportive environment. Whether it's overcoming trauma, reducing anxiety, moving through grief, or managing overwhelming feelings, my goal is to help you see things more clearly and regain a sense of agency in your life. We can work together to strengthen resilience, where you can do the things you truly want to do and feel empowered to move forward.
