Sereina Colon, LPC

If you’ve made it this far, you’ve already taken an important step — even considering therapy isn’t easy.

I work with clients who want to better understand themselves, feel more in control, and make meaningful changes in their lives — whether that’s around anxiety, stress, relationships, grief, trauma, or something harder to put into words.

Finding the right therapist matters, and that starts with feeling comfortable, supported, and understood.

My Approach

My approach is collaborative and flexible. We’ll work together to understand what brought you here, what’s getting in the way, and what you want to feel or do differently.

I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. These approaches help us understand patterns while also building practical tools you can use in your day-to-day life.

We’ll work on building skills and insights you can carry with you beyond our sessions.

Qualifications & Background

I’ve been drawn to psychology from an early age and continued that path through my undergraduate studies at the University of Hartford and graduate training at the University of Bridgeport.

In addition to therapy, I have experience as a case manager and can help connect clients with additional resources if needed.
