Olivia Herzog, LMSW
I focus on creating a space where you can feel safe, understood, and not judged — because starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and that matters.
I work with clients who are trying to make sense of their experiences, break out of patterns that no longer serve them, and feel more grounded in their day-to-day lives.
My Approach
My approach blends practical tools with deeper exploration. We’ll look at how your thoughts, emotions, and past experiences connect, while also working on ways to help you feel better in the present.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic work, and somatic approaches to support emotional insight, nervous system regulation, and meaningful change — especially when trauma is part of your story.
Qualifications & Background
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Columbia University School of Social Work.
I have experience working with survivors of abuse, individuals navigating substance use, and those living with more complex or long-standing mental health challenges.
My background in social work also shapes how I understand the broader systems and stressors that can impact mental health. If those experiences are part of your story, we can make space to explore them together.
