Cameron O'Connor, LCSW
I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or not quite like themselves — whether that shows up as anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, substance use, or the sense that something just isn’t working.
In therapy, we focus on understanding what’s happening beneath the surface while also making practical changes that help you feel steadier, clearer, and more able to move forward.
My Approach
My approach blends present-focused strategies with deeper insight into past experiences. We don’t just talk about why things feel the way they do — we also work on how to change them.
Whether you’re processing the past or trying to handle what’s happening right now, our work will focus on helping you feel more grounded, more in control, and more connected to yourself.
Qualifications & Background
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Pennsylvania, where I trained alongside leading professionals in mental health. Since then, I’ve spent thousands of hours working one-on-one with clients.
I co-founded Harborlight Counseling with my wife, Morgan, with the goal of building a practice that feels accessible, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful. We’ve built a team of clinicians who care deeply about the work and the people they support.
Some of my most meaningful work has been with adolescents and young adults, and I’ve made it a priority to ensure our practice supports clients as young as 12.
